Happy hour hello! Literally the best happy hour in the state of MN if I do say so myself. The margs are out of bound (I prefer frozen) and the complimentary chips and salsa is such a welcomed rarity. The margs are quite strong for my petite size so literally Uber or plan accordingly. The deal is too good to pass up. Also suggest ordering queso with the complimentary chips...
We had a great [super COVID safe] lunch at Rojo today! The host & hostess were so kind & made sure to show us the QR code for menu access. Our waiter had the best customer service & was very attentive. He ensured we had the drinks we wanted - and a glass never went empty without him stopping back beforehand to see if we needed a refill...
This is my favorite place for happy hour! Come early as it's hard to ran a spot! Check in on yelp and get a free tomatillo salsa. You also get free chips and salsa. We usually do the nachos because they are huge, the tostadas and the pork quasi fills. Also the corn is not to be missed! Skip the chicken skewers...
I must add that they have THE BEST FRIES EVERY HANDS DOWN!!! They are thin, crispy and fried to perfection!! They are served with my favorites, the ribs and the burger. Unless you ask, they serve the ribs on the same plate with the fries underneath, but I always request that the fries are served on a separate plate. My Personal preference.
Rojo delivered food to our home for a party. The driver helped us to set everything up in our chafing dishes, and made sure we were happy. The food was a hit with our guests and I will do this again in the future. The rice is amazing and the vegetarian tacos were very flavorful! We got the Rojo Guacamole and it was an interesting twist on guac. I'd get that again, too.
